I wish I could have bought this appartment. It had all the features for a perfect home.
Perfect location: just at the edge of the city centre but at walking distance. Amazing view on Lake Como, four big windows looking over this landscape, which leaves you speechless.
Other 3 windows face on the opposite side, looking over the woods.
About 140 square meters, beautiful traditional stone black and white stone floor.
Silent and stunning, here's how I would have designed my house.
Mood board
Lake Como, is maybe one of the most renowned pieces of landscapes in the world.
The beauty of this landscape was my inspiration to create a moodboard for this project.
All the shades of blue with spots of green and occasionally white are the typical colours all year long.
The appartment has three large windows facing west with a sight on lake and mountains, with no obstacles in between.
The original tiles on the floor are a 60's typical example of white "terrazzo". It's a beautiful feature that should be preserved and comined with the new materials.
The final choice of the colour palette is composed mainly of sky blu, with black&white and different tones of pinkish browns to complete a modern and cosy home feeling.
